Terms of Service for Chart Me Up!

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing and using Chart Me Up! (the “Add-on”), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Add-on.

2. Description of Service

Chart Me Up! allows users to create charts in Google Slides based on data from Google Sheets. The Add-on reads spreadsheet data temporarily to generate charts and does not store, collect, or share your data outside your Google account.

3. User Responsibilities

• Use of Data: You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the data in your Google Sheets. The Add-on only reads this data to create charts.

• Compliance with Laws: You agree to use the Add-on only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

4. Restrictions

You may not misuse the Add-on, including:

• Attempting to access unauthorized data or accounts

• Attempting to reverse-engineer the Add-on

• Attempting to disrupt the Add-on’s functionality

You may not use the Add-on to collect or store personal data of others without their consent.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, code, and functionality provided by the Add-on are the intellectual property of Eclectec. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use the Add-on solely to create charts in Google Slides from your Google Sheets data.

You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Add-on without prior written permission from Eclectec.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Add-on is provided “as is” and “as available” without any warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Add-on will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that charts created will meet specific requirements.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Eclectec will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Add-on, including but not limited to:

• Data loss

• Errors in chart generation

• Technical issues with Google Sheets or Slides

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Add-on at any time, without notice, for any reason, including violations of these Terms of Service or technical issues.

9. Changes to Terms of Service

We may update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Add-on after changes indicates your acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of California, United States of America, and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of California, United States of America.
